this is an auction for an elderly computer...
it is a COMMODORE SX-64...a portable, briefcase/suitcase size *luggable* computer....and holds the distinction on being the first full-colour portable computer...
it was released in America in January 1984..(retail price $995.00) .and discontinued in 1986.
the serial number of this SX-64 is GA6-005502 (there were 7,000 in the GA6 series made).
the weight of this computer is just over 10 kilos (approx 23 lbs)....
it has a built in 5 inch colour screen....
it has a detachable keyboard., which clips and unclips on the front...the space-bar on the keyboard is *yellowy* rather than cream coloured..the handle acts as a *stand*...
I do not have any disks, or cartidges, manuals etc to go with this computer...I have plugged it in., and it fires up ok....I have taken a photo(s) of it on and off..but unfortunately, the photo did'nt show up toooo clearly...
it is a tad dusty., has two initials scraped into the top....but otherwise, it seems ok..
