Snug and warm, this shawl collared cardigan is perfect for both boys and girls. Features wide ribbed collar and single button closure.

Cardigan is made to measure according to the standard size chart provided in the pattern. Includes sizes newborn to 12 years. If you are good with crochet, you could easily make this in an adult size using your own custom measurements. (Try taking the measurements from your favorite sweater.)

Sample cardigan was made using fingering weight yarn and crochet hook size F (3.75"). You may use yarn type and hook size of choice with this pattern with excellent results. No specific yardage estimates are be provided by size as a result.

You'll also need a button of choice and needle and thread.

The body of the sample cardigan was worked using sc. You can easily use hdc or dc instead to make it go quicker. Cardigan is worked in vertical rows.
