Bamboo textiles have a growing reputation for being soft, strong, odour suppressing, bacteriostatic, highly absorbent and hypoallergenic.The bamboo viscose used in Bambu Dru products is derived from both sustainably harvested wild crop and organically certified farmed bamboo carrying OCIA and USDA NOP certification. The fibre is manufactured by the Tanboocell patented bamboo fibre process which carries GOTS approval, passes the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 test for chemical residue and is biodegradable. (Supporting documentation available on request) Bamboo is a sustainable permanent crop that is a strong CO2 sink and grows without the high irrigation and pesticide requirements of cotton.
