Absolutely a beautiful Soft Wool, Suitable for all kinds of knitting, especially for the Baby wear , for those people who want to avoid that itchy feeling and buy the best.

Please note this is not the Superwash you will find in the shops, our Tasman Quality is what retail would call Superwash, although our Tasman is Virgin Merino as is all our Wools
Virgin Merino simply means that all the Wool is of 1 Micron, many Wools today use the Weighted Average system which is why you can notice a substantial difference between an Italian or German spun Wool as opposed to other Countries. Weighted average system is where they blend a mix of wool microns , for instance 20, 24, 23 Micron, and then take the weighted average to give you the Micron of that yarn. Virgin Merino is where only a single Micron of wool is used to spin the Yarn, offering a superior product visually and gives you the true superior performance properties of using 100% of a single micron , rather than mixing lower quality Micron wools with better end micron wools

Washing Instructions
Warm Machine or Cold wash at 30c or Cold Wash Line Dry or Warm Tumble Dry.
