Pure silk yarn, handspun waste silk from the sari weaving mills in India, by women's co-operatives. This is a rich, lustrous mix of colours with a delicious over-all dark reddy/purple effect. The photos may not do the colours justice. Approximately a chunky knit thickness, though this varies as it is hand spun - we suggest 7.5 - 8.5mm needles if knitting - though it would be amazing woven.. The hanks are approx 100 gms ea.
