Jazzy Gems for colourful mosaics!

10 teal gems with a sparkle. Teal is a mix of green and blue. These gems have slightly more green than blue.

Flat-backed clear glass gems measuring approx 18-20mm in diameter. The colour comes from a hand-made opaque backing. Please note sizes and shapes vary, and air bubbles and irregularities are all a normal part of the gems.

* How to work with Jazzy Gems *
Jazzy Gems are primarily made to be used on mosaics (for both indoors and outdoors) which are grouted. Used in this way they are water resistant, fade resistant and durable.
To glue them onto your base use a two-part epoxy adhesive e.g. Araldite, a white tile adhesive such as Surefix, a clear glue e.g. Weldbond or a super-glue. Make sure you use enough glue to come a little way up the sides of the gem so that the edge of the coloured backing is covered and both backing and gem are held securely. Full instructions will be included with each packet.

The gems are not intended for use in kilns. They are not recommended for sitting in a vase or bowl of water, however they do look good arranged on a table or sitting on mirror.
