Recipe for body exfoliant scrub:

100g grated soap base
2 1/2 cups water
75ml glycerine
1 tsp Macadamia oil
1/2 tsp honey
1 drop benzoin essential oil (optional)
1 Vitamin E capsule
1/2 tsp coconut oil

Melt grated soap & water in saucepan over low heat. Add glycerine. Stir in honey, macadamia oil, coconut oil & vitamin E capsule. Remove from heat & add benzoin essential oil. (if you have none of this use another vitamin E capsule as it is a preservative). Add fragrant essential oils if required.

Recipe for Lip Balm

30ml coconut oil
8g Lanolin
12g Shea butter
12g Beeswax granules
Flavour oils or stevia to taste


place a saucepan filled 1/3 with water on stove with bowl on top. (this serves as bain marie). heat all ingredients in bowl except flavour oils & stevia until melted. remove from heat & add flavours/stevia oils & stir well. Pour into jar & leave to cool.
