Not pretty but does the job. The Kiln is structurally sound the rust is surface only. Exception top of door opposite end from hinges bit dozy I,ve had the kiln for 25 years its always been the same and never caused a problem seals perfectly
Fires to stoneware used almost solely to 1070.
