The Janome 1200D is the Ultimate Overlocker with 2, 3, 4, 5 thread overlocking plus single line chain stitch, 2 needle narrow, 2 needle wide Cover Hem plus 3 needle decorative cover including the exclusive 3 needle "Top Cover" like the commercial machines. You simply select what stitch you want on the front panel and it does all the internal settings for you (changes tensions, releases overlopper etc.) you just rethread !! Even that is amazingly simple with colour coded lay in threading and auto underlopper threaders on both loppers :)
This machine has been used to demonstrate and as such is not only $600 cheaper than retail it also has a great range of extra feet (valued over $200) thrown in plus 5x white 5000m cobs of Coats Drima thread ($40 value). It has a few bumps and scissor marks that are not obvious unless pointed out, however ultimately it's the latest model at a great price :)
Not only have I fully serviced and tested the machine so I can give it a one year back to base warranty (not covering misuse) but I will also give the lucky new owner free tuition. I have even rebound the manual removing over 20 unusable pages of foreign language for easier access.
