In chemical free gardens, Liquid Copper has become one of the most used substances.
Copper has long been a great equalizer against diseases in the garden.
Best used to prevent diseases from getting established, and after pruning and before leaf burst is a good time to use it. It also has the ability to overcome some diseases that attack plants, as long as the damage has not become too established.
Liquid Copper is Copper Hydroxide in a liquid form which is more convenient than having to mix a copper powder with water .
Liquid Copper is used for protection against, Downy mildew, Late Blight, Early Blight, Brown Rot and especially effective to prevent Leaf Curl on Stone Fruit. It helps prevent bacterial Diseases and any of the diseases that attack citrus trees.
Use straight after pruning to help prevent diseases entering cuts before they seal.
For diseases such as black spot, rust, powdery mildew and botrytis use Liquid Sulphur Use Liquid Copper to prevent damage to plants from slugs and snails. Snails and slugs are mollusks and they won’t go near Liquid Copper so if you spray your seedlings when you plant them out, it will keep the slugs and snails away from them.
There is enough in the bottle to make 140 litres of spray. Liquid Copper gives you another safer alternative to harmful chemical sprays. It can be used all year round.
