Emergency Ration Packs - Twin Pack (2 x 24 hour ration packs)

You have the choice of four packs:

- Classic Emergency Pack

Each pack contains enough for 1 person for 24 hours eating well.

These packs are ideal for your home, work or car survival kit.

They are also perfect as a complete pack for those outdoor adventures, complete with everything you need for an overnight adventure.

Each individual ration pack comes with it's own self heating unit, so you can heat the main meal without having any extra equipment.

About Freeze Dri:
Combines quick-to-hydrate, freeze-dried vegetables and meats with sauce mixes that have been processed to retain their natural flavours.
The result is delicious meals that can be prepared in the pack in 10 minutes with the addition of boiling water.

There is a careful balance of carbohydrates and sugars for instant energy, protein to replenish exhausted muscles and oils and fat to provide an energy store (oils and fats are kept within the recommended maximum of 30% of total energy).

Freeze drying retains the natural vitamins in the food because of the low temperatures used in processing.

How to Prepare:
Simply add the required amount of hot or cold water stated on the back of each meal pouch, stir and let stand for 10 minutes.

How it Works - Flameless Heater Packs:
The pack consists of an outer foil cooking pouch and two inner plastic heat pads containing sachets of reactants.

Add water to a freeze dried meal pouch to reconstitute it and then put it into the foil cooking pouch. Add water to the inner heat pads to initiate the reaction.

When water is added to the heat bags, a chemical reaction occurs, giving off strong heat.

Note, the product will not generate flame or sufficient heat to cause ignition.
