Not all Lithium batteries are created equal. These are top quality cells from Panasonic in Japan and are currently the highest genuine capacity 18650 class battery on the market.

• Li batteries do not like being fully charged or completely drained. They have a maximum number of charge cycles before their capacity drops off.
• For maximum cell life regardless of the Li battery that you choose make sure that you don't run it completely flat and try not to store them fully charged.
• Confused by the numbers? 18650 means the basic cell is nominally 18mm in diameter, 65mm long. 16340=16mm dia, 34mm long. The PCB adds a few mm to the length.
• Why should I buy one of these and not Trust/sure/ultra-fire etc? You don't know what you are getting with generic batteries. Some can be recycled laptop batteries. Many Cheap batteries capacity ratings are often unreliable (there is currently no 4000+mAh rated 18650 battery commercially available despite some claims to the contrary).

Whilst all Li batteries can be dangerous generics carry more potential risk of fire and/or explosion. Make sure that at the very least you have a PCB protected battery unless you know what you are doing.
