YONGNUO RF603 N II is a multi function flash sync & camera shutter release system that can be used either wirelessly or wired. Both the transceiver & receiver are identical & can be used independently, together & in vice versa to provide the greatest flexibility.

RF-603 II can be used in 4 different ways:

1.Wireless Speedlight Flash Trigger Connect one trigger to camera & the other to flash. Pressing the shutter on the camera half way will wake up the flash & fully pressing it will fire the flash as you take a picture. Just a single unit on your camera can control many external units & flashes

2.Wireless Studio Flash Trigger Connect one trigger to camera & the other to studio flash via the PC socket. Pressing the shutter on the camera will fire the flash as you take a picture.

3.Wireless Shutter Release Connect one trigger to camera via the shutter socket on your camera. With the other unit in hand, pressing the trigger button halfway will focus the camera & fully pressing will take a picture. Can also be used in the same manner but wired with only one unit connected shutter socket on your camera

4.Handhold Flash Remote Camera Shutter Release With the camera on a tripod mount the trigger to the hot shoe of camera & connect via the shutter socket of camera. Connect the other unit to your flash, with the unmounted flash & other unit in hand, pressing the trigger button will take a picture
