A video tripod head for professional video camcorders with a suitable tripod.
A upgraded model of the well known e-Image model EI -717AH or WF-717AH manufactured by Weifeng of China.
Has a flat base so it can be used on a normal tripod with the normal flat round platform on the top of the central column.
Included with Tripod Legs Professional QH-J8580 2.89Kg weight. Maximum height with centre column extended 1820mm. When not extended 1290mm. Minimum height folded 620mm. Foam covers the upper legs. Weight without head 2.895Kg. (Manfrotto is 2.5KG) Maximum tube diameter: 30mm. The shoulder has a spirit level. Standard 3/8" diameter screw on the central column to attach any tripod head.
Features of the head:
Variable drag, pan ant tilt, fluid based (Oil). The knurled knob for tilt is on the right and the locking knob on the left.
The knob for drag and locking of pan movement is on the base, towards the back.
A spirit level is on the base near the pan knob.
One arm 370mm in length which can be placed on either side
Weight 1.26Kg
Capacity 6Kg
Inner springing so that the head returns to horizontal when unattended.
Otherwise the head and camera can tilt inadvertently and create damage.
Quick release plate. Other QR plates are available for $25. A lock is provided so the the QR plate and attached camera cannot accidentally slide off the head if the locking knob is not tight enough.
High quality alloy and finish.
Very fluid movement with not the slightest hesitation or sound when movement is commenced.
