This was Dad's camera who passed away many years ago now.
Every year I have "turned it over" to make sure everything works. So its been in our family for 50 years now - but as the money from this sale is going straight back into camera gear, I'm sure Dad will be ok with that!
So...details.
All in superb condition as can be seen from the pics. These are current shots of the camera taken this month. The only wear mark is on the button on the right hand side above the winder where it contacts the inside of the leather case. By the way the red marks on the side on shots on the lens are not marks, just lighting reflections. And the marks round the lens casing in pic#4 are not scratches - just fluff off the polishing cloth!
Taking lens is Heidosmat 1:2.5, 75mm.
Shooting lens is Carl Zeiss Tessar 1:3.5, 75mm.
Serial no is 2151489 meaning it was manufactured between 1958 and 1961. Dad bought it in 1962 from Agfa NZ in Auckland, the original purchase receipt is attached.
Everything seems to work fine - focusing is smooth, iris works right across the range, all shutter speeds seem good, wind lever winds like new. The light meter needle swings fine with speed/f changes but I couldn't absolutely guarantee the accuracy of it now!
Also with the sale is the personally signed factory letter from Franke & Heidecke that was given to new Rollei owners. Plus the brochures and user manuals as shown. Again, these are scans of the actual items, all in very good condition.
And the leather case as can be seen is in wonderful condition as well.
Pickup can be either in Orewa or Parnell in Auckland.
I am happy to package this up and send to a buyer out of Auckland, but will insure to the purchase price and use track & trace with signature reqd - don't know how much this will cost the buyer but I am not prepared to send it off without these precautions.
If you're in Auckland, inspection is fine and welcomed too.
Any questions please don't hesitate to ask, am most happy to help.
Thank you.
