This auction is for a Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta C that has the most desirable coated Zeiss-Opton 105mm f3.5 lens.

Comes with Agfa lens hood (it took me a long time to find one the right size!) and Hunt Wilde (made in USA) grip.

The camera was purchased from Certo 6 (a well-known online dealer specializing in quality folders ) in 2014 and was serviced by him prior to sale. Since then I have had a small split in the bellows professionally repaired and an accessory shoe added. The camera has a nice clear, contrasty and aligned rangefinder and everything works fine. The lens is also nice and clear. This camera has been film tested and works fine.

A couple of points to note:

1. The repair on the inside of the bellows causes a loss of about 2mm along the one side of the negative. Being a 6x9cm negative, I haven’t found this an issue.
2. The accessory shoe really makes this camera a joy to use. I pop a Leica 50mm finder (not included) on top and it works brilliantly (a 6x9 negative having the same ratios as a 35mm negative). You can remove the accessory by undoing two screws and revert back to the albada finder, but as the brightline insert is missing on this one (and even when they are present on this model they are usually yellowing and almost unusable) the accessory shoe arrangement works much better.
