KENWOOD TRIO KP-5021

This is a idler-belt drive turn table. It is the same drive principle as the Thorens TD124.

It was manufactured in 1972 and contemporary to the Garrard 401. This model retailed (including an arm and plinth) at 2.5 times the price of the 401. You can see this reflected in the build quality.

I taken photo's of the following design features:

* massive oversized platter
* large main bearing
* large flywheel bearing
* oil sump and oil lines to the motor
* cast metal top plate
* original plywood plinth

I have cleaned and re-lubricated the bearings with 100% synthetic oil.

The turntable sounds great as, you may wish to place it in a massive CLD type plinth.

This is a rare turntable in very good original condition.
