The Madake is a very special cartridge as it uses a cantilever made of bamboo (Madake).The material normally used to make a cantilever has some small inherent resonances and is often made from metal and/or a stone of hard material. Unusually in this cartridge Bamboo is used which removes a lot of the extra resonance from the cantilever. A very effective result is thus achieved.

This is one of the best sounding cartridges on the planet. Miyajima Lab can take another bow for a job well done. Reviews are still on the way but the forums are full of positive comments. A link to one review is pasted below.
