The base of both buttons is 12mm by 12mm.

The tall button's total height (excluding legs) is 14mm. The button shaft has a very slight taper to it. I think these would be good for extending through a front panel from a board mounted behind the panel. There is also enough "give" laterally that they will trigger with a side-load if that is useful.

The short button's total height (excluding legs) is 5mm, which makes them a good choice for where you don't have a panel but want an easily clickable button on your PCB.

Both of these styles are a perfect size for your projects because they are very easy and comfortable to push with fingers, they have a very positive feel to them, and a nice loud click.

Much nicer to have "proper" sized buttons like these on your project if you can spare the room (especially if you'll be making them into a front panel).

PS: Although these are through hole, if you're a bit clever you could carefully bend the legs out to surface mount them.
