Most indoor aerials, if not just a toy, are at best a "jack of all trades" and "master of none". This one has been specifically designed for UHF and gives significantly better results on UHF than a standard combination VHF/UHF rabbits ears type aerials. It can be set for horizontal or vertical polarization (if you are not sure what polarization is used in your area - ask me). Comes with coax lead and standard male coax plug.

With the switch off of analogue TV services looming, our country is one of the first to launch a Terrestrial High Definition service using MPEG4/AVC. To receive this, you will need an aerial capable of receiving UHF.
Please note - Any aerial whether outdoor or indoor that I have listed will work the same or better than any others you will find anywhere but if you have hills, buildings or even trees between you and the transmitter site you could possibly run into problems. That is not the fault of the aerial. This is especially so with indoor aerials as their gain is less and they have walls to contend with also.
