This Freeview™ Digital Terrestrial Receiver is a DSE G 7503. Connected to a UHF (not VHF) TV aerial (preferably rooftop) via the RF co-axial input, it will output uncompromising High Definition (720p) or Full HD (1080i) quality digital free-to-air TV via its HDMI output. 

Not got an HDMI input on an older TV? No problem, so long as you have either a Composite Video (Yellow) RCA input, S-Video or Component Video inputs. Audio outputs are served either via the single HDMI output, RCA digital audio or digital optical output, plus TWO sets of two analogue audio RCA outputs. 

The full range of picture output resolution is: 720 x 576i, 720 x 576p, 1280 x 720p, 1920 x 1080i. 

This receiver is unusual in as much as it supports the outputting of both High Definition (HDMI) and Standard Definition (up to 576p) images from all these outputs simultaneously, providing the option to pipe signals to another room via appropriate cabling or remote A/V equipment (not included). This makes it a particularly versatile unit, solidly constructed with a metal chassis and vented metal casing, unlike some of the plastic low-budget models currently available.
