Canon Legria HF M52

This camera is only three weeks old. I bought it just to record a two day conference in Sydney this last weekend. (My normal camera is a high quality mirrorless, but it can only record short clips, which is why I had to get this camera for recording the conference sessions.) The camera did a great job, however I no longer need it.

There are 49 weeks left on the warranty which goes to 29 July 2013.

The camera is in mint condition. There is however some light scratching on the power pack which is used for charging the camera. All the original packaging is included.

I chose this camera because I needed a high quality image, especially in the low level, interior lighting. This camera has the same sensor that is found in the professional XA10 camera.

The camera has 32GB of built in flash memory and also takes SD cards.

The sensor is a 1/3-inch, Canon HD CMOS PRO sensor

Video records in AVCHD 1080/50i. 1080/25P (Maximum AVCHD 24Mbps). MP4 720/25P.

Optical zoom is 10x (digital zoom is 200x but you never want to use that).

It has USB 2.0, mini HDMI, AV output and a Canon accessory shoe. It also has a mic input and the AV can be used a headphone out.

The screen is a three inch LCD touch screen.

It has optical image stabilisation.

It also has a WiFi feature, however I think this is a bit of a gimmick and you're better off using the cables provided.

The camera has a bunch of modes and features, the most useful one I found was automatic face detection.
