The night after a party on the island of Banoi, four people wake up to a nightmare. Dead Island is a first-person action role-playing horror game developed by Techland. Players will explore the open-world of Banoi and fight against some very aggressive undead and gain plenty of items to build their own weapons. The main combat emphasis is on melee combat and Dead Island has many melee weapons to choose from and you can build your own uber zombie-killing stick, bat, sledgesaw or what have you. Players gain experience by killing enemies and performing main story and side story tasks in order to unlock a multitude of character-specific skills from a skill tree.
