This auction is for the entire set of 6 cards.

Each card measures 3.5" X 5" & is in mint condition.

The images on the fronts of the cards are in full color. On the back of the cards there is detailed text about each film spotlighted including cast & plot information & the importance of the movie & poster in the history of film.

The over-the-top graphics & flamboyant nature of these posters are themselves a lost art. It was from a time when movie-goers were enthralled by the fantastic claims that the posters offered & used that alone as a basis of whether or not they'd go see the movie once released.

How could it be that the outrageous claims & fantastical action scenes depicted would consistently work to entice audiences? Well, it was the "Golden Age" of the movie industry & the audiences were eager for a good time, even if the claims made on the posters could not hold up on the big screen.

Any fan of this genre would find many great places to display these items! They would look beautiful in a frame or for display on a desk or wall.
