This auction is for 50g Pure Indigo Powder + 50g Pure Henna Powder - Packaged separately. Combined will give 100g of powder. When mixed with liquid, the paste will cover short - above shoulder length hair.

* Packaged in New Zealand.
* Sifted before being packaged. This creates a smooth paste for hair dye.

The following are guidelines only for using henna powder and indigo powder. Final colours will vary depending on how long the paste is left on your hair.
Grey : 50% Henna & 50% Indigo gives
Medium brown. Black : 50% Henna & 50% Indigo gives warm Black. Dark Brown: 50% Henna & 50% Indigo gives warm brown.
Medium Brown: 50% Henna & 50% Indigo gives Medium brown. Red: 50% Henna & 50% Indigo gives Medium brown. Dark Blonde: 50% Henna & 50% Indigo gives Darker brown. Blonde: 50% Henna & 50% Indigo gives medium brown.
If your natural hair is very light or predominantly grey & you want to turn it black, it may take 2 applications to achieve. Instructions will be included. ---------------------------------­---------After having severe allergic reactions to the PPD in chemical hair dyes & BLACK HENNA (YES, even so called black henna which I thought, at the time, was safe), I had almost given up hope of finding a natural dye to cover up grey hairs until I found this. Using the 2 step method with henna & indigo powder, my hair is now black, smooth, silky & strong. Please note that not all Henna is made the same! If you are allergic to PPD, please stay away from BLACK HENNA. After numerous tries, I've found PURE Henna powder does not contain any additives that would cause an allergic reaction for me. Remember: Everybody is allergic to something . And no matter what it is, somebody's allergic to it. Test first!
