Currently fitted on the right side of the staircase looking from the bottom of the stairs up.

Length of straight pieces from bottom of stairwell to curve half-way up stairwell: 1 metre 98.5 cm Length of straight pieces from half-way up stairwell to top of stairwell: 1 metre 83 cm

Has two remote controls, and can also be operated from the chair itself.

Out of warranty now, but in our experience Acorn provide helpful advice over the phone from their 0800 number.
