With a knee scooter you put your knee on the padded "seat", which can take your body weight in comfort, whilst you push yourself forward as with a push scooter.

I bought this whilst travelling in the US with a broken Achilles tendon and found it was the best thing. Hands are free, unlike with crutches. Weight is kept off the injured leg and excellent mobility is maintained indoors and out. You can sit in the seat when tired.

The brake system is right hand operated twin disk brakes and has a locking push button.

There is a detachable basket - very convenient.
