Electric Wheelchair - Jet 3 Ultra 4500

This is an estate item and I am selling on behalf of the estate. That said, my apologies, as I am not familiar with electric wheelchairs at all. It was originally purchased from More Mobility (MM) in Christchurch.

Given my limited knowledge with electric wheelchairs, I am selling it 'as is' because MM said it will need new batteries. MM advised that it will cost $559 per pair of batteries (12V40AH) and they will provide a 12 month warranty from the date you purchase the batteries. You will also need a charger and a second-hand charger from them will cost $110.00 with a 3 month warranty included.

MM advised that this chair is approximately five years old and as new, was worth $5,500.00. The chair has been in storage for over 18 months, if not longer.

I see there is a wee bit of tape under the left handle, so have taken a photo of that to see it for yourself.

I have been advised that I could sell this wheelchair for up to $2,500.

In saying that, if you buy the above-mentioned batteries for the chair and there still is a problem in order to get it working in the shop or within 24 hours of purchase, I will pay for any repairs required because I will not be selling you something that doesn't work, even though it's 'as is'. MM believed it would work great with batteries and they didn't foresee any problems.
