Ashwagandha (withania somnifera) is an herb that is extensively used in Ayurveda, the traditional health care system in India, used as a general tonic and “adaptogen”, helping the body adapt to stress. In addition, Ashwagandha has been shown to support a healthy immune system.

Reviews Great for Adrenal Fatigue! This product levels out my cortisol during the day so that I don't have highs and lows. It also is very calming. Excellent for my adrenal fatigue.

Best natural product I have ever taken. Helps with my fibromyalgia, severe chronic fatigue and stress.

Great Adaptogen. Like other adaptogens, it works for awhile, but you need to give it a break for 2 to 3 weeks, before taking it again, so you can feel the effects.

Effective sleeping aid. Gives me a good night's sleep without feeling hungover in the morning.

High quality product. ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT for anxiety and mental stress - can't rate it highly enough. Just as effective as anti-anxiety medications!! REALLY relaxes you and is VERY powerful stuff. One in morning then one in late afternoon is all you need. Any more than that and you may feel like you are on heavy tranquilisers. Be careful not to take it with sedative herbs as I did by mistake - use with caution as very potent sedative. HIghly recommended. :-)
