The Aqua-Chi Ionic Foot Bath is a hydro-therapy device that combines the life-giving properties of water with a specialized bio-electric charge, which enhances and amplifies the body's ability to heal itself. The bio-charge produced by the Aqua Chi Foot Bath (commonly called a detox foot bath) resonates throughout the water at a frequency specific to each individual taking a treatment. The negative ions created during a session are similar to those found in hot springs and other naturally charged water sources known to be beneficial to the body. The energized water helps to re-balance the body's energy meridians by permeating and realigning an individual's energy field.

All that is needed for an Aqua Chi foot bath is a container and water. Since it is portable, it can be used just about anywhere. The Aqua-Chi is very simple to operate and provides a non-invasive, painless, energizing experience for the individual taking the footbath. First, a container is filled with water. The timer is then turned on and set from anywhere between 25 and 40 minutes (picture shows bath at 10 minute mark), allowing the bio-charge and negative ions to permeate the water. When the bath is complete, the unit shuts off automatically. During a footbath (or full body bath) the water will slowly begin to change colour. Depending upon the individual taking the footbath and the source of water, the colour may show anything from a milky white to a very dark brown. Often a gentle tingling sensation can be felt during the bath. Many have likened the experience of a session to that of bathing in nature's hot springs.
