Soapnuts are a 100% Natural substitute to chemical detergents.
They are sustainably grown & harvested, the soapnut contains saponins which dissolve in water and breakdown oil & dirt. They also work as a fabric softener.
They come with a small pouch which acts as a washbag and for each wash you place 4-6 soapnuts in the washing bag. This can be re-used 3-6 times until the nuts go mushy (then they have lost all there saponin).
They work lovely, your clothes smell fresh and they are soft and they are a win win win product. The Earth is winning (no more chemicals in the ocean) you are winning (clean soft clothes) and me and the prodcuer are winning (we all need $). They also work out cheaper than chemical laundry detergents.
