Paying by credit or debit card provides you with more protection than paying by cash or internet banking, because it keeps Trade Me informed of the auction and payment. Your credit or debit card details are secure and encrypted.

There are no additional fees for using your credit or debit card to pay. Buyers must be authenticated to pay by credit card.
