These sheets are 100% cotton sateen. Sateen is a way of making the fibre "satin like" So you get all the healthy breath-ability of cotton with the nice silky feel of a satin.

Sateen sheets are best washed in cold water and line dried to keep them looking and feeling good.

These were originally to be stocked at a large New Zealand retail store, but some sheets in the shipment were faded so they liquidated the whole lot. You will probably see some other sellers on TM have them as well. I will better any other price you see. The ones I got have none (or very little) fading.
