Description
Welcome to D&P Furniture, makers of beautiful handcrafted furniture with a rustic touch.
A great little cabinet made from a recycled pallet (pine), macrocarpa for the top and recycled rimu moulding for the base.
This piece has more than enough character to brighten up a room; it is made from an old wine pallet (the last of a few that we had, pallets that is, not drinks!) which was used to keep thing safe when Canterbury flooded a few years ago. The bottom rimu moulding was found in a forest out the back of a Coopers Creek (Oxford) property and is naturally aged and distressed with turqouisey paint. It had a few insect holes (unseen on the cabinet) which have been treated so won’t be an issue.
The macrocarpa was left over from the same house when it was being built years and years ago. Macrocarpa is such a beautiful timber; it has the natural equivalent of H3 treated wood and has colour and grain patterns to be admired forever and a heavenly smell to match.
The cabinet also has a light drawer underneath the door as you’ll see, great for a lounge, kitchen or about anywhere you want it =)
$10 reserve to move this piece out of our workshop, don’t miss out on this beautiful piece =)
