Queen Slat Bed / Castle / Galleon....

My flatmate is selling her bed, "Beddy". She just can't handle him any more. Let me explain.
At first glance he looks like any old queen slat bed. I'll be honest, he's seen better days. But this is no ordinary bed. Oh, no dear bidder. When assembled he is a gateway to a land of awesome adventures! He's a fortified castle protecting you from marauding trolls, a Galleon plundering the 7 seas, even a flying fortress raining havoc upon fleeing foes!
Now with all that marauding, battling and so on, you can understand why he's a little scratched up. As tough as Beddy is he has taken a few knocks in his time. (Troll horns and cannon balls aren't soft you know). His frame is scratched and a few slats are cracked or broken. Now if you were really fussy you could sand him down and give him a coat of whatever you fancy - but that would be insulting! This bed wears his battle scars with pride!
And the proof? Well, Beddy threw out this challenge to all the evil hordes looking for a fight:
"Come ye forth! Test thy minions against my rugged flanks! Toss thy wretched pawns upon my burly borders! Let them thrust their puny spears to my bouncy bosom; I shall turn them aside and shout NAY! NAY to thee! For I art the heartiest and mightiest bed in all the land and I shall stand fast before thine mongrel masses! Thou canst rail upon my sturdy planks till thy last breath is drawn and still I shall prevail! Gaze ye, upon my might and know ye shall be bested! Quail before my righteous presence and know that ye are lost! Feel my scorn and run, cur, back to the foul reaches of the darkest places from whence ye came, and come again no more!"
Tough stuff from a bed. But fear not for your sleep, dear bidder. Beddy does have a soft side and offers a comfy embrace to all weary adventurers.
So if you think you can handle the adventure place your bids, grab your pillow and with any luck you will be sharing your nights with Beddy, the bediest bed in all Beddom!
