We have two comfortable single wooden beds (both like the one in the photos). The bases are wooden slats and although have been worn, are in working condition. The mattresses are both spring mattresses. The beds have wheels on the legs. As you can see in the pics, they can be easily dismantled into headboard, endboard, two side rails, base and mattress.
