A solid mahogany headboard or bed end as per photo. Think its just a single, but the measurements should tell you anyway, so sold as is, whatever it is. Not sure what wood would be, but to me, it looks like mahogany, & if its not then it will be a mahogany sapelle or something similar. But it would be an exotic hardwood and it is real wood, not a veneer. It is in reasonably ok. Looks good, has some small marks & scrapes etc from time & use, but to me, its usable as it is, or if you want it looking better, then give it a quick rub down and recoat to make look real good. The worst mark is shown, and there is a similar one further down on its side, and to get rid of that you would need to sand there & recoat. Measures approx. 935mm wide x 1230mm high. It is approx. 525mm between the floor & the bottom of the headboard. Legs are approx. 630mm wide, and centre to centre of where the bolts go into the bed is approx. 587mm. (if exact mm are important to you, then just give this auction a miss) . Now, because of its size, THIS REALLY NEEDS TO BE A PICKUP. We can often be available for pickup during the week and sometimes on the weekends, but sometimes we are just not available, so reasonableness & good communication are real important. (especially during the holiday season) pickup is in Waihi, & just to make sure you do pickup, payment MUST be made within 3 days of sale AND BEFORE pickup, Its a condition of sale. (we have had a number of people who have boughts stuff, choose buyer to pickup, and we never see them or receive payment.) If you were desperate & If I really really really had to, I can unscrew the legs, wrap in the legs & headboard in cardboard & send possibly by courier / postage but depends on where you are & your address. (no PO box or rural delivery or small towns / places that they count as rural even if you are not.)
