Description
Sweetree's Marokopa Manuka is collected from December to January from the remote west coast settlement of Marokopa, south of the renowned Waitomo caves.
This honey is sought after for its natural antibacterial properties. This Manuka honey has been tested by Analytica Laboratorie with a MG = 177 & NP Activity = 7.9.
This Manuka honey for those people that don't like a strong tasting Manuka honey! This year’s soft and smooth Marokopa Manuka is sweet with a bite but is not overpowering.
Much like a great wine reflects the terroir of where the grapes have grown, Sweetree Honey’s different varieties reflect the area and season the bees worked their magic. From the light and creamy coloured honey of the Four Brothers Reserve with an almost caramel flavour to the more peppery Marokopa Summer - there is a Sweetree honey to suit all tastes and occasions.
You can be confident that Sweetree Honey has not been damaged by heating or finely filtered. It still retains the enzymes, antibacterial qualities and high pollen counts naturally occurring in the honey.
You can be comfortable knowing you are helping the environment as our honeys come in attractive, recyclable glass jars.
All our products were judged 'Highly Commended' at the 2012 & 2013 Taste Farmers Market Awards. See our other listings for honey, bee pollen and honey gift boxes.
This honey was processed in NZFSA registered premises - LOR4HONEY/01 & GFA1.
