You all loved our Valentine’s idea so much that we figured ‘Hey, why limit the fun to once a year?!’ Now all you singles (holla!), married people, young, old, Kiwis and travellers have got the chance to get in on the action and create yourself a delectable ice cream based on your brilliant flavour ideas!

The Giapo ‘Create Your Own Ice Cream’ Auction includes:

* Consultation with Head Chef Gianpaolo Grazioli himself (in person if you live in Auckland, over phone/email if elsewhere) about your taste preferences, and creative brain storming session to create your unique ice cream flavour.

* One ‘litre of joy’ of your ice cream for you to take home and show off to all your friends.

* Full recipe for the flavour.

* Customised sign featuring your ice cream which you get to keep after being displayed and on sale in our store for one month following the auction’s close.

* AND - during that month you can come in and help yourself to one FREE cup of your ice cream every day for you and one for whichever lucky friend you bring along!

* We’ll also allow you to order your flavour in bulk at 25% off if the one litre tub doesn’t quite go around all your friends, family and work mates who want to try it.


Here’s your chance to show your creativity to the world - or we can give the winning bidder a ‘Create Your Own Ice Cream’ voucher to pass on as the ultimate birthday present, anniversary gift, new mother surprise (she worked pretty hard, surely ice cream is well-earned!), or engagement pressie … but who really needs a landmark celebration as an excuse anyway?
