This beautiful handmade doll is a one off creation by Pat Young - Westport. Pat produces a variety of figures each unique and full of character and fun. The dolls are painstakingly sewn and painted by hand giving them an individuality not usually found at this price.
This cheeky Victorian beauty is draped in a deep green velvet with yellow silky like trim. She looks like bit of a 'bar lush' of her time, ready to dance and have some fun!
An old cotton reel on her base just adds to her curious character and charm.
She stands approx 62cms high. This lovely lady is in the bust style (as are her friends), but not all Pats creations are represented in this way.
This artist is sensationable and her pieces may well become collectable given time.
