This piece of cloisonne is very attractive and also quite unique in it's design.

It is cylindrical in shape and stands on it's own wooden stand.

It has a discreet pattern around the top in green,blue and tan, and a smaller blue only pattern around the base.

Apart from that the vase is a cfreamy white all over except for the black, inlaid, 'Bamboo in the Wind' pattern which would cover an area about 2/3rds of the circumference of the vase. Cloisonne wiring is in bronze. The base and inside is enamelled in turquoise.

Height of the vase is 23.5 cms on stand 20.5 without stand. Circumference 32cms near top - straight sided unti lthe last cm from the bottom where the circumference narrows to 27cm.
