This is a classic, solid fridge. It runs perfectly and has good strong seals. From my observation it costs no more to run than the modern fridge I had before. There is lots of space inside, and the temperature gauge works well so it holds to the desired temp consistently.

I bought the fridge from the owner of a former fruit shop on Jackson St, Petone. His parents had bought it for the back of the shop in the 50s, and I am only the second owner.

A practical point of note is that the fridge is very heavy, and the buyer will require professional movers (with a truck that has an hydraulic lift). I recently used Kiwimove, who provided two strong guys and a truck. They were excellent, and kept the fridge upright, etc.

I am selling because I have moved from a large house to a small one, and sadly the fridge won't fit.
