Over the last few years we have worked closely with our factory to improve our processes and these processes are absolutely unique to Kiwi Living's product (which is why we think its fair to say that not all replicas are created equal). Here's how we do it:
Modern machinery is used to mould (not stamp out, cut and shape) this 1 mm solid steel which is then welded together and polished by hand.
Our galvanized product is double dipped in zinc before being coated with 3 coats of a 2 pot polyurethane.
Our plain steel ('gunmetal') stools are polished then varnished to give them that durable industrial sheen.
Our painted stools are polished and painted with 3 coats of 2 pot polyester epoxy which hardens like rock and provides a genuine and durable finish to these bullet proof bar stools. All units come with rubber stoppers on the feet and are stackable for easy storage.
