A Note about Watts vs Lumens: We are often asked "How many watts are these?, when in actual fact what is really meant is "How bright are these?" We have all developed expectations of how bright a 40, 60 or 100 watt bulb should be and we try to fit LED bulbs into that same expectation. However, an LED uses very little watts to produce a fair amount of Lumens. Remember:

Watts = amount of power used to drive the light bulb. (watts cost you money)

Lumens = brightness of the bulb as seen by the human eye. (lumens light up your room)

When choosing a bulb look for lumens not watts - the fewer the watts, the less energy you use. The higher the lumens the brighter the light.
