Now you can ferment your beers at home at the correct temperature. All you need is this controller and a fridge!

Professionally constructed, this little box can turn your average fridge or freezer into a temperature controlled unit ideal for fermenting or dispensing beer.

Simply plug the power lead into your wall socket and your fridge into the COOL socket. (And your heat pad into the HEAT Socket, optional).

Then place the temperature probe inside your fridge.

There is no need to modify your fridge / no need to drill holes in it. The temperature sensor lead is thin so just pop it in the fridge and shut the door. You could hold it in place with a small strip of tape.

How it works:- Set the desired temperature on the controller. Lets say 7 degrees. Plug your fridge into the controller. (There is no need to change any settings on your fridge) Place the temp. prob into the fridge. If your fridge is at room temperature, the controller will turn on the fridge until the set temperature (7 degrees in this case) is reached. When it reaches 7 the unit will turn off the fridge. When the fridge warms up, the controller will turn the fridge back on. To prevent the fridge from being turned on and off repeatedly, there is a delay of 3 minutes between switching on and off.

There is a battery backup, so in the event of a power cut the temperature settings are retained, so when the power comes back on, the unit springs into life!

I use one in a fridge to keep the correct temperature during fermenting / largering and I use another in a freezer (Keezer) to stop the beers freezing.
