Town & Country Furniture has been in the furniture retail business since 1995. We started by selling high quality Rimu furniture that made by our North Shore factory in the retail area i.e. New Market, Wairau Park and Manukau Supa Centa.

After almost 20 years in the business, we found most of our revenues goes not only to the furniture cost, but a big chunk also goes to the overheads, i.e. rent, transportation, wages, advertisement etc.

“Sell high quality furniture at a price that as low as possible by reducing overheads as much as possible” is now our business guide.

Last year we closed all our retail stores and warehouses, moved to an industrial area near Pakuranga Plaza, by doing this we reduced our overhead from $25000 a month to $6000 a month per store. Now we can reduce our price 35% without sacrifice our furniture quality.

After one year of trading in Trade Me, we have achieved our goal; 100% of our customers give us positive feedback, 30% of our customers are from out of town, 10% are from South Island.
