We're renovating so this much-loved dining furniture (table, four chairs, two stools) needs a new home. We had the table, chairs, and stools made for us by Duncan Sargent (see http://www.duncansargent.co.nz). The table edges are rounded to avoid bruises and keep small faces safe. The mosaic pattern is formica, so kids can paint, draw, and play without damaging the surface and it's easy to clean. The table also extends, so you've got more room when friends come over for dinner. And if you tire of the pattern, the formica can come off (to replace it or sand back to the funky ply surface). Table is 1350mm long (1750 extended), 800 deep, and 760 high.
