Description
This beautiful rustic coffee table has been handcrafted out of reclaimed Jarrah that used to make up the Hurunui rail bridge which was pulled down years ago.
My Grandfather-in-law, whether he helped pull it down or not (not sure) came to have a collection of the original timber used to construct it which has now been turned into this table of which there will only ever be one in existence.
A house was also built in Oxford out of other pieces of the bridge, also by Grandad.
The table is very heavy, strongly built and will last a life time and longer. It has been finished with gloss polyurethane.
