Calling all the weekend warriors out there who want to get behind a fantastic cause!
Stihl Shop Fosters is putting up for auction a Brand Spanking new Stihl MS 171 Chainsaw with all proceeds being donated to the Rolleston Volunteer Fire Service.
We first came into contact with this Brigade several weeks ago when Stihl donated several Rescue Saws and we were blown away by the dedication of these extremely hard working people. When they aren’t responding to one of over 400 call outs a year, they are out supporting the community with charity work and raising safety awareness!
It would be hard to find an organisation more deserving and the team at Fosters is hoping the Trade Me community agrees by getting behind this auction.
Along with a heap of good Karma, the winner with walk away with:
• 1 x Stihl MS171 Chainsaw (14 inch bar, 30.1cc, 1.6kW, 4.3kgs)
• 1 x Hi Vis Safety Helmet (signed by the likes of Rachel Hunter and Dan Carter among many others!)
• A litre each of Stihl 2 Stroke Oil and Stihl Bar Lube
• And, so we don’t end up creating more work for our firemen, or any other emergency services unit, Protective Stihl Chaps, Earmuffs and Eye Protection
The chainsaw is currently at our Blenheim Road Store and is available for viewing. Upon collection, one of our team will go through starting and safety procedures with the new owner. We are also more than happy to courier out if needs be!
These are amazing wee saws; they just go and go and go. Remember, if it’s a Stihl, you’ll only need one!
