This beautiful trowel was handcrafted by myself in my Eastbourne forge. It is made from good quality high tensile strength steel. The blade and tang are made from one solid piece and the tang runs the full length of the handle making this a most robust design. Total length is 315mm and weighs 280 grams. The blade is 110 mm long and the handle made from American oak is 165 mm long. It sits comfortably in the hand and would make a wonderful addition to any keen gardener's kit The finish is polished black with a protective coating clear lacquer.
